Buying prescription glasses by Police and other reputable brands doesn’t just look cool – it could save your sight, or even your life. That’s the message from Which? whose optometrist found serious flaws in off-the-peg reading glasses bought from high street shops.
The report checked the quality of 14 pairs of glasses at seven popular stores, including Poundland, Primark, Sight Station and Marks & Spencer. Flaws were found in around 50% of them. Worryingly, the most serious defects were in the (more…)
